I have always loved paper. Paperback books, journals, note cards…you name it, I loved it. When I had my second child, a gal at work made me a handmade card as a congratulations. I was enthralled!! I decided to try my hand at making Thank You cards for my baby shower. I went to my local craft store and bought some paper, one stamp, and one ink pad. With those items I was able to make beautiful cards. Who knew?
I quickly dove head first in card making and learned everything I could about it. I mastered techniques, tools and began teaching monthly local classes and holiday workshops. I also started doing scrap booking and Project Life. I was fortunate enough along the way to be published multiple times in Paper Crafts Magazine and guest design for the Studio Calico company.
After many years of hand making cards, and with the addition of digital tools, I began to explore digital production. I studied and took classes to learn Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I also began to explore other mediums such as watercolor, hand lettering and art journaling. I love everything there is about being creative and expressing yourself. Creativity knows no bounds and it astonishes me everyday the way it makes me feel. I’m really happy that you found me and I hope to become buds, so stick around.
